Broadway’s Good People, Starring Frances McDormand and Tate Donovan, Extends Through May 8

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced an extension for David Lindsay-Abaire’s Good People, which is currently in previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, in anticipation of an official opening on March 3. Daniel Sullivan has directed the production, which will now run through May 8.

The world premiere play focuses on a woman living in Boston, who, after being fired, turns to an old flame in an attempt to embark on a new start.

The production stars Becky Ann Baker, Patrick Carroll, Tate Donovan, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Frances McDormand, and Estelle Parsons.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), David Zinn (costume design), Pat Collins (lighting design), and Jill BC DuBoff (sound design).
