Broadway veteran and Emmy Award winner Edie Falco will host Our Time Theatre Company’s annual Gala, to be held at NYU’s Skirball Center & Rosenthal Pavilion, on April 19, beginning at 7pm.

As previously announced, the event will honor Grammy and Academy Award winner Carly Simon. Simon, who has spoken publicly of her life-long stammer, is a long-time supporter of Our Time, and recently appeared on their CD Listen.

The gala will feature performances by Lauren Ambrose, Victor Garber, John Forté, Jerry Stiller & Anne Meara, as well as kids who stutter, who will cover such Carly Simon hits as “You’re So Vain,” “Anticipation,” “Let the River Run,” and more. Artists also scheduled to appear at the event include Talia Balsam, Michael Cerveris, Nadia Dajani, Ned Eisenberg, Dominic Fumusa, Lauren Graham, Kathryn Grody, Richard Kind, Ilana Levine, Jesse L. Martin, John Oliver, Austin Pendleton, Rosie Perez, Billy Porter, Ron Rifkin, Ramon Rodriguez, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Amy Ryan, Jonathan Schwartz, Ed Sherin, John Slattery, Fisher Stevens, Mary Testa, and B.D. Wong.

Honorary Chairs for the gala include Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Sawyer and Mike Nichols. Co-Chairs are Scott M. Delman & Fred Nelson. The evening will be directed by Our Time Founder Taro Alexander, with musical direction by Everett Bradley.

The non-profit organization uses the arts as an innovative and effective approach to improving the confidence and communication skills of youth who stutter. The gala will feature original poems, speeches, and songs (written by the kids themselves) alongside professional artists.

Tickets start at $125. For more information, visit www.ourtimetheatre.org.
