Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies, currently represented on Broadway with Time Stands Still, will participate in a public forum entitled The Secret Life of War Reporters, to be held at Columbia University, Graduate School of Journalism World Room, 3rd Floor (116th Street and Broadway), on Monday, February 8 at 5:30pm.

Margulies' play tells the story of Sarah and James, a photographer and a journalist, who have been together for years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when circumstances compel them to return home, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.

For the forum, Margulies will join award-winning journalists -- and married couple -- Emma Daly and Santiago Lyon to talk about how war reporters reckon with news ethics, covering violence, and the effect of combat on their domestic lives. Bruce Shapiro, Executive Director, Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, will moderate.
