Jeremy Bloom's La Boheme (Spoken) will play a five performance engagement at The Flea Theater, running March 10-13. Bloom directs the piece, which is based on the opera La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, and adapted by Brian Rady.

In the show, Puccini's original libretto is spoken, not sung and its musical roots, including repetition and rhyme, are maintained to create a heightened theatrical piece.

The company will feature Laila Alj, Amanda Bloom, Lauren Blumenfeld, Veracity Butcher, Holly Chou, Tommy Crawford, Katherine Folk-Sullivan, Christopher Hejl, Vella Lovell, Nick Maccarone, Joyce Miller, Scott Morse, Sade Namei, Heidi Neidermeyer, Dominic Spillane, Stephen Stout, Ari Venturi, Ben Webber, and Claire Wilmoth.
