Paul Binder to Play Mitt Romney in Thalia Follies' Primary Colors

Big Apple Circus creator and ringmaster Paul Binder will star in the Thalia Follies presentation of Primary Colors, to run February 16-18 at Symphony Space. Musical direction will be by Lanny Meyers.

Created and written by Isaiah Sheffer and comedian Martin Sage, Primary Colors features Binder as Mitt Romney, who holds press conferences about "the Bain of his existence," Mormonism, hair gel, and strapping dogs to the top of cars.

The cast will also include Follies performers Ivy Austin, Kathryn Markey, and Mary Brienza; singer Eric Poindexter; jazz bassist/songwriter Jay Leonhart; soprano Lisa Flanagan; and comedian Joel Chasnoff.
