Kushner's play is set in America in the 1980s against a backdrop of greed, conservatism, sexual politics, and the discovery of AIDS. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Angels is part of the Signature's 2010-2011 Tony Kushner season, which will include two other plays by the award-winning writer.
