Faith Prince to Star in Reprise’s Baby on February 5

Tony Award winner Faith Prince will play Arlene in the Reprise! Broadway’s Best Marvelous Musical Mondays production of Baby, to take place at 8pm on Monday, February 5 at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. The production will directed by Kevin Chamberlin.

Baby follows three couples who are coping with pregnancy at different stages in their lives. The show has a book by Sybille Pearson, lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr., and music by David Shire. The 1983 Broadway production, in which Beth Fowler played Arlene, received seven Tony Award nominations including Best Musical.

Prince won a Tony for her performance as Miss Adelaide in the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls. Her other Broadway credits include Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing, Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, The King and I, and Little Me. She recently co-starred in the Showtime TV series Huff. In addition, Prince has made numerous cabaret and symphony appearances in the past year.
