Amy Brenneman, Concetta Tomei Head Cast of LATW’s Top Girls

Television stars Amy Brenneman and Concetta Tomei head the cast of the L.A. Theatre Works’ production of Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls, set to run January 11-15 at the Skirball Cultural Center. The show is being directed by actor John Rubinstein.

The cast also includes June Angela, Megan Austin Oberle, Samantha Robson, Carolyn Seymour, Kate Steele, and Missy Yager. Churchill’s Obie-winning play concerns Marlene (Brenneman), an employment agency director who ends up communing with some of the most famous women in history.

Brenneman is best known for her starring role on Judging Amy and for her work on NYPD Blue; among her film credits are Your Friends and Neighbors and Heat. Tomei appeared on Broadway in The Elephant Man, Goodbye Fidel, and Noises Off; her TV credits include China Beach and Providence.
