Mixed Blood Theatre to Present Center of the Margins Mini-Festival

Mixed Blood Theatre will present Center of the Margins, a five-play mini-festival exploring the complex world of disability, October 20-28.

The festival will feature fully mounted productions of Next to Normal (October 5-November 11), directed by Jack Reuler and Ken LaZebnik’s Theory of Mind (October 20-28), also directed by Reuler.

In addition, Mixed Blood will present staged readings of Andrew Hinderaker’s Colossal, an original work about spinal cord injury directed by Jamil Jude; John Belluso’s A Nervous Smile, a social satire about parents of children with cerebral palsy directed by Sharon Walton; and Cyrano, a re-imagined adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac, by Stephen Sachs, performed in ASL and spoken English and directed by Simon Levy.

The Center of the Margins mini-festival is on stage Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21 and Saturday and Sunday, October 27-28 and features a triple bill each day.
