Jane Fonda to Receive 2011 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award

Stage and screen star Jane Fonda has been named the recipient of the 2011 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, which will be presented by The Hollywood Reporter at its annual Women in Entertainment breakfast on December 7.

The honor annually recognizes a woman who is a pioneer and leader in her respective industry.

Fonda received a Tony Award nomination for 33 Variations. Her other Broadway credits include Strange Interlude and Invitation to March. She won Academy Awards for her performances in Coming Home and Klute and received Oscar nominations for The Morning After, On Golden Pond, Julia, and They Shoot Horses Don’t They?
