Carol Burnett to Be Honored for Lifetime Achievement at Publicists Awards Luncheon

Stage and screen star Carol Burnett will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) 49th annual Publicists Awards Luncheon, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The event will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 24, 2012.

Burnett’s Broadway credits include Once Upon a Mattress, Fade Out-Fade In, Putting it Together, and Moon Over Buffalo. She also co-wrote the autobiographical play Hollywood Arms with her daughter Carrie Hamilton. She is best known for her award-winning television program, The Carol Burnett Show. In addition, Burnett won an Emmy Award for her guest role on Mad About You, with other television credits including All My Children and Glee.
