Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Tom Everett Scott, Marisa Tomei Set for Us & Them Movie

Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Tom Everett Scott, and Marisa Tomei will star in Us & Them, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Andy Rickman is directing the picture, which will have a script by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel.

The movie will center on a grandmother and grandfather (Midler and Crystal), who are trying to deal with their grandkids’ modern habits after their daughter (Tomei) leaves her kids in their care. Scott will play Tomei’s husband. Bailey Madison will also be featured in the film as one of the grandchildren.

Crystal won a Tony Award for his solo show 700 Sundays. He has appeared in such films as Throw Momma from the Train, Analyze This, City Slickers, and When Harry Met Sally. He has also hosted the Oscar and Grammy Awards, and received the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize.

Midler made her Broadway debut in the original company of Fiddler on the Roof, and received a special Tony Award in conjunction with her Clams on the Half Shell Revue. She received Oscar nominations for her work in the films The Rose and For the Boys.

Scott appeared on Broadway in The Little Dog Laughed, and Off-Broadway in Touch and The Country Club.

Tomei has starred on Broadway in Salome and Wait Until Dark. Her stage credits also include We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay!, Waiting for Lefty, Rocket to the Moon, and Design for Living. She received the Academy Award for her work in My Cousin Vinny.
