The Television Critics Association handed out their annual awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 6.

Among the series that were honored were Friday Night Lights, Mad Men, Modern Family, Game of Thrones, Amazing Race, Sesame Street, Masterpiece: Sherlock, and The Dick Van Dyke Show, which won the group's Heritage Award.

Oprah Winfrey received the group's Career Acheivement Award; Mad Men star Jon Hamm won the award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Drama, while the Outstanding Individual Achievement in Comedy Award was shared by Modern Family star Ty Burrell and Parks & Recreation star Nick Offerman.
