Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley Set for New Absolutely Fabulous Specials

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will reprise their roles as Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone in three all-new reunion specials from BBC America and Logo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lumley was recently seen on Broadway and in the West End in La Bete. Her other stage credits include The Cherry Orchard, Noël and Gertie, and Blithe Spirit. As previously reported, she will star as Eleanor of Aquitaine in a West End production of The Lion in Winter later this season.

In addition to her work in Ab Fab, Saunders is half of the comedy duo French and Saunders (with Dawn French), and is writing the book to the new Spice Girl musical, Viva Forever.
