Avatar‘s Stephen Lang, Sigourney Wearver, Mary Poppins, Parade Among Saturn Award Winners

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror has announced the winners of its annual Saturn Awards, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Among the winners are stage veterans Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang for their work in James Cameron’s Avatar, which also won as Best Science Fiction Film, among many other honors.

Awards also went to stage productions seen in the Los Angeles area. The engagement of the national tour of Mary Poppins, which played the Ahmanson Theatre, won as Best Local Stage Production: Fantasy/Musical, while the Mark Taper Forum’s production of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry’s Parade won as Best Local Stage Production: Play/Dramatic Musical. A third stage award went to the Falcon Theatre’s Fellowship: The Musical, which received the Best Local Stage Production: Small Theatre Award.

Leonard Nimoy won for his guest-starring role on Fringe, while other television acting awards went to Josh Holloway, Anna Torv, Aaron Paul, and Julie Benz.
