As previously reported, the drama series will star Sigourney Weaver as Elaine Barrish, a former First Lady who is the newly appointed Secretary of State.

The cast will also include Ellen Burstyn, Carla Gugino, Ciaran Hinds, Brittany Ishibashi, Adrian Pasdar, Sebastian Stan, James Wolk, as well as Roger Bart and Dan Futterman, who been cast in recurring roles on the series.

In addition, stage and screen star Dylan Baker will recur as Vice President Fred Collier. His many Broadway credits include God of Carnage, November, Mauritius, and La Bete. He received an Emmy Award nomination for his performance as Colin Sweeney on CBS' The Good Wife.
