Ed Asner, Leonard Nimoy, JoBeth Williams, et al. Set for Selected Shorts at Getty Center

Ed Asner, Leonard Nimoy, Fionnula Flanagan, Jane Kaczmarek, Christina Pickles, René Auberjonois, Kirsten Vangsness, JoBeth Williams, Keith Szarabajka, Freda Foh Shen, and Isaiah Sheffer will participate in Selected Shorts: A Celebration of the Short Story, which will return to the Getty Center, May 1 at 3pm and 7pm and May 2 at 3pm.

The theme for this year’s literary series is “At Home,” and features three performances by Hollywood and Broadway actors reading classic and new short fiction about home. The company will give voice to stories penned by John Updike, David Drury, Richard Ford, Miranda July, Krista McGruder, Yasunari Kawabata, Peter Taylor, David Means, A.M. Homes, Nahid Rachlin, and Julie Otsuka.
