Lindsay Lohan Might Undertake a Mamet Marathon

After a successful run in ”Speed-the-Plow”, the celebrity hints that #OLEANNA could be next.

Will Lindsay Lohan take on another David Mamet play? According to a cryptic Instagram post, the actress may be following up her stage debut in Mamet's Speed-the-Plow with a sophomore performance in Oleanna.

"And so it is. ONE MAMET DOWN!!! Next stop. 1 year #OLEANNA," said Lohan in the post, which appears to be a final selfie in her West End dressing room at the Playhouse Theatre.

Speed-the-Plow, which opened on October 2, featured Lohan along with Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay. The 1988 Hollywood satire starred Lohan as Karen, a role originated on Broadway by Madonna.

Oleanna is a two-person Mamet play that had its Broadway premiere in 2009 starring Julia Stiles and Bill Pullman. The plot follows a male university professor and a female student who accuses him of sexual harassment.

Whatever happens next for Lohan, it's clear Mamet is suiting her just fine.
