Martin Freeman to Star in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit
The cast will also feature Richard Armitage, Rob Kazinsky, Aidan Turner, Graham McTavish, John Callen, Stephen Hunter, Mark Hadlow, and Peter Hambleton.
The film will be released in two parts, in December 2012 and December 2013, respectively.
Freeman recently starred in the Royal Court production of Clybourne Park but did not transfer to the West End. His film and television credits include The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Hot Fuzz, and The Office.
