Morgan Freenman, Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, et al. Set for February 11 White House Concert

Morgan Freeman and Queen Latifah will host the concert In Performance at the White House: A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement on February 11, according to a report in The New York Times. The event, to be held in the State Dining Room in the White House, will be broadcast on public television and streamed live online at www.whitehouse.gov.

The concert is timed to help celebrate Black History Month and will feature Natalie Cole, Bob Dylan, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Smokey Robinson, Seal, the Blind Boys of Alabama, and the Howard University Choir. In addition to songs from the period, the performance will feature readings from famous Civil Rights Speeches.
