Westport 2010 Season to Include She Loves Me, I Do! I Do!

The Westport Country Playhouse has announced four selections for its 2010 season, the first official season of artistic programming by Mark Lamos, who was appointed as the Playhouse’s artistic director in February 2009. No casting has been announced.

Lamos will direct both the Jerry Bock-Sheldon Harnick-Joe Masteroff musical comedy She Loves Me (April 27-May 15) and Samuel Beckett’s comedy Happy Days (July 6-24). The season will also include the two-character Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical I Do! I Do! (August 10-28), and the classic drama The Diary of Anne Frank by Francis Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly revised by Wendy Kesselman, (September 28-October 16).
