Seth Rudetsky to Offer October Performances of Deconstructing Broadway in Chicago

Seth Rudetsky will offer his one-man show Deconstructing Broadway at The Music Theatre Company Space in Highland Park, IL, October 8 and 9 at 8pm.

In the piece, Rudetsky uses his private video and audio collection to examine in detail such performances as Patti LuPone’s turn in Evita and Madonna’s work in the same musical, as well as such rarities as moments from the short-lived Brady Bunch Variety Hour and Cher performing all of the roles in West Side Story.

Rudetsky was featured as the on-camera vocal coach on MTV’s Legally Blonde: Search for Elle Woods. As a comedian, he has appeared at such venues as Stand-Up NY and Caroline’s Comedy Club. In addition, he was a comedy writer for The Rosie O’Donnell Show. He also performed in the Broadway revival of The Ritz.
