Chicago Dramatists has announced its 2010-2011 season which will begin with Steve Peterson’s The Invasion of Skokie (September 10-October 10). Richard Perez will direct this piece, which is based on the real-life events surrounding a planned march by neo-Nazis in the Chicago suburb of Skokie.

Also on the theater’s schedule is Aline Lathrop’s Bordello (January 27 – March 6), to be directed by Beals McCarthy. Set in Nevada, Lathrop’s play investigates the lives of the women who work in that state’s licensed bordellos. Chicago Dramatists’ third production will be Marisa Wegrzyn’s Wasserstein Prize-winning Hickorydickory (May 5 – June 12). This look at a woman who’s stuck at age 17 for an eternity will be directed by Russ Tutterow.
