Chicago Production of Freud’s Last Session to Celebrate Freud’s Birthday May 6

The Chicago production of Mark St. Germain’s play Freud’s Last Session will mark the 156th birthday of the titular psychoanalyst with post-performance celebrations on Sunday, May 6 at the Mercury Theatre.

Following both performances that day, audience members will be treated to cupcakes and given the opportunity to participate in a meet-and-greet with cast members Coburn Goss and Mike Nussbaum. Additionally, one audience member will receive a “Freudian Slip” by Cosabella, courtesy of Chicago’s G Boutique.

The first 156 patrons to purchase tickets using the code “Birthday” for either performance on May 6 will be treated to the special price of $45.

Directed by Tyler Marchant, the play explores a meeting between a dying Dr. Sigmund Freud and the rising academic and theologian C.S. Lewis. It is suggested by the book The Question of God by Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr.
