South Korea's OD Company is hoping to bring a new production of the Tony-winning Maury Yeston-Peter Stone musical Titanic to Broadway.

Directed by Eric Schaeffer, Titanic is currently running at the Charlotte Theater in Seoul, South Korea through February 11. This production is based on Schaeffer's 2016 mounting of the musical at the Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia, where he serves at artistic director.

No timeline for a Broadway production has been officially revealed, though in a statement, OD Company C.E.O. Chun soo Shin said. "OD Company is committed to relaunching its return to Broadway as soon as possible."

With music and lyrics by Yeston and a book by Peter Stone, Titanic opened on Broadway in 1997, winning five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Signature Theatre's production had choreography by Matthew Gardiner, music direction by James Moore, orchestrations by Joshua Clayton, scenic design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Frank Labovitz, lighting design by Amanda Zieve, sound design by Ryan Hickey, and wig design by Anne Nesmith.
