Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Jersey Boys first opened on Broadway on November 6, 2005. Directed by Des McAnuff, the musical follows the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the popular 1960s pop/rock quartet made famous by hit songs such as "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," and "Big Girls Don't Cry." A film version of Jersey Boys, helmed by Clint Eastwood and starring original Tony-winning leading man John Lloyd Young, was released in 2014.
