Cirque du Soleil's Paramour Releases High-Flying TV Spot
Cirque du Soleil's new Broadway show Paramour has released a TV spot highlighting its aerialists and acrobats. The production will begin preview performances on April 16 and open on May 25 at the Lyric Theatre.
Staged by French director Philippe Decouflé, Paramour will blend "the best of Broadway with Cirque du Soleil's signature style." Set in Golden Age Hollywood, the story follows a young poet who is forced to choose between love and art.
The company will feature a cast of 38 singers, actors, dancers, and internationally renowned aerialists, acrobats, and circus arts performers. Together, the cast and creative team represent 13 different countries, spanning five continents.
