The Grammy-winning Original Cast Recording of Jersey Boys has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), commemorating sales of over one million copies in the United States.

The musical -- written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe -- tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi, and includes dozens of their popular hits including "Walk Like a Man," "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Oh What a Night," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You."

The original Broadway cast featured Christian Hoff as Tommy DeVito, Daniel Reichard as Bob Gaudio, J. Robert Spencer as Nick Massi, and John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli.
