Based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, the musical focuses on what happens when linguistics professor Henry Higgins works to transform Eliza Doolittle, a common flower girl, into a proper lady.
The company will feature, as previously announced, Charles Shaughnessy as Higgins, along with Lisa O'Hare (Eliza Doolittle), Peter Cormican (Colonel Pickering), Sarah deLima (Mrs. Higgins), Bill Dietrich (Alfred P. Doolittle), Cheryl McMahon (Mrs. Pearce), and Hayden Tee (Freddy Eynsford-Hill).
The ensemble will include Audrey Cardwell, Sarah Ellis, Thomas Gibbons, Jordan Grubb, Eric Huffman, Robin Lounsbury, John Matthew Myers, Sarah O'Connor, Ellen Peterson, Jp Qualters, Lisa Rohinsky, and Joseph Torello.
The creative team will be comprised of scenic designer Howard C. Jones, costume designer Gail Baldoni, lighting designer Jack Mehler, and sound designer James R. McCartney.
