Winter Words: Cold Readings

Rising Tide Productions and CoHo Theater present Winter Words, cold readings of three plays by Portland playwright William S. Gregory.

Monday, January 29: Her Mother’s House
A 16th century comedy about the collision between faith and luxury and parents and children when adult children become caregivers for their parents. The play is part of The Ninon Cycle, a piece of which CoHo produced as Child of Pleasure. Featuring Emily Beleele.

Monday, February 5: Jubiloso
A contemporary comedy about a father and son in the world of Classical Music. Featuring Sam A. Mowry and Atticus Mowry.

Monday, February 12: The Tragedy of Don Pedro Giron
A 14th century tragedy in blank verse centering on the three-way rivalry for the hand in marriage of Isabel of Castile.
