Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT) opens its new season with the world-premiere production of The True Confessions
of Charlotte Doyle, based on the Newbery Honor book by Avi, adapted for the stage by John Olive and directed by Rita Giomi.
The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle is a seafaring adventure set in the 1830s. This tale features a young lady from England who finds herself on a cargo ship bound for the United States, and ends up fending for herself among the weathered crew.
Recommended for ages 9 and up.
