Tacoma Actors Guild and Taproot Theatre Company welcome the National Shakespeare Award-winning play The Trial of Ebeneezer Scrooge. Just one year after his miraculous transformation, Scrooge has charged Jacob Marley and the Christmas Spirits with kidnapping, assault and battery. It seems certain Scrooge has reverted to his old, disagreeable self. Can the spirit of Christmas survive? If laughter and goodwill are any indication, Christmas is here to stay!
