The Northwest Actors Studio’s Creative Team and Earth Tribe Productions present Shakespeare’s gripping political drama, Julius Caesar. The rise and demise of a great political figure through the crafty proclamations of his “friends” highlights a conspiracy of monumental proportions. This production is based on Orson Welles’ 1937 Mercury Theatre Production, featuring an ensemble cast in multiple roles, a representational set mostly consisting of platforms, movement in and out of light to signify scene changes, and the use of masks. Donald Drummond directs.
