About This Show

Created from interviews with the people of Laramie, Wyoming following the death of Matthew Shepard, this theatre piece from Moises Kaufman and members of Tectonic Theatre Project raises questions about hate, social responsibility, compassion, honor, and the death penalty. By encouraging not just tolerance but acceptance, The Laramie Project seriously examines the violent and nonviolent reaction to those who have been traditionally labeled as “different.”
