About This Show

In a historic uptown Chicago neighborhood, cantankerous ex-hippie Arthur Przybyszewsk comes to work to find that his donut shop has been vandalized. Shortly thereafter Arthur hires an African-American college student, Franco Wicks, a young entrepreneur with plans to modernize Arthur’s 30-year family business. This provocative comedy by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Tracy Letts (author of Killer Joe) explores the challenges of embracing the past, facing the future and the redemptive power of friendship.
