About This Show

Joy Zinoman directs a new version of Aeschylus’ rarely produced Prometheus. Act One is a world premiere adaptation by Sophy Burnham, who also created a brand-new companion second act. Zinoman and Burnham explore the timeless appeal of Prometheus’ rage against the gods by imagining what happened in the lost plays of the Prometheus trilogy. Sarah Marshall stars as Io, with the support of a twenty-woman Greek chorus.
