Naomi Iizuka’s Polaroid Stories is inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Jim Goldberg’s photo essay on homeless youth Raised by Wolves, and her own interviews with street kids. The play explores a hard, dangerous, and often-ignored world of teenage runaways in a poetic style.
