About This Show

The show is based on the beloved picture book about the children of Horace B. Smedley Elementary School, room 207. After their horrid behavior scares off their sweet teacher, Miss Nelson, the students are subjected to the most fearsome substitute teacher ever, Miss Viola Swamp. They engage the bumbling Detective McSmogg to help them find Miss Nelson, hoping to make amends. This, the 100th production of Miss Nelson is Missing, features a new scene and musical number written by Cushing especially for this production. In the scene Miss Viola Swamp takes the students on a field trip to–where else?–the Museum of Crime and Punishment, where their tour guide is one Al Catraz.
