Hip Hop Anansi

A much loved story from Ghana is uprooted, updated and retold in the city. Anansi’s kids are battling b-boys, emcees, DJ’s and graffiti artists but when their daddy’s in danger, they cooperate and use all their hip hop skills to help him out. The cast features internationally known deaf actor/choreographer Fred Beam along with a mix of other Washington, DC deaf, hearing and hip hop artists. Conceived and directed by Patrick Crowley.
