This season-opener offers an overview of Folger Consort’s 2008-2009 season, Mediterranean Notes–which features early music from Italy, Spain, France, and Cyprus–an in depth look at the music featured in Isabella’s Court. Followed by a wine reception in the Folger’s Great Hall with Mediterranean meze, European cheeses, and antipasti.
