BUMP: A Tabloid Story

Set in present-day Los Angeles, Bump is the story of Deena, a party-crazy heiress who’s just been released from prison — only to discover that the media’s replaced her when she gets out. But she’s starved for fame and will do anything for that little push back to the top; and when she throws a new entourage, lots of drugs, and a little girl into the mix, Deena’s big plans are sure to go sour … or are they?

Bump stars the brilliant Rebecca Ellis as Deena, and marks the return to the Baltimore Theatre Project of Jim Knipple, founding director of the Run of the Mill Theater Company. The production is the world-premiere debut of rising playwright and recent Hopkins grad Robert Powers.
