About This Show

The Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company presents the newest play from Killer Joe author, Tracy Letts. Her unique drama entitled BUG, is about people trying to connect in a world of enemies, both real and imagined. Hiding out in a dingy motel on the outskirts of Oklahoma City, 40-year-old Agnes spends her time drinking, taking drugs and dreading the return of her ex-con husband, Jerry. Partying with her girlfriend, she meets a strange young man named Peter. Agnes and Peter hit it off instantly, until Peter starts seeing and feeling bugs everywhere. Enter a strange doctor from Peter’s past, and Agnes’s brutalizing, unwelcome husband. Soon Agnes questions whether the bugs are real or a delusion.
This show is intended for mature audiences only.
