Animal Farm

The animals of Manor Farm decide that the world would be better off without the thoughtless and degrading rule of humans. After the revolution, however, the animals sink into corruption, hierarchical inner societies, and political betrayal.

Adapted by Nathan Weinberger and Paata Tsikurishvili, with direction by Paata Tsikurishvili and choreography by Irina Tsikurishvili, Animal Farm uses the Tsikurishvilis’ personal experience with pre- and post-Communist era Georgia and Cold War Germany to turn this commentary on Soviet Russia into a timeless and universal piece.
