New York City
Suburb, an upbeat musical, examines with insight and wry humor our collective assumptions about life in suburbia. A young New York couple about to have a baby looks to move from the city to the suburbs: He dreams of little league games and lawns to mow; she is terrified of losing her identity when she becomes a “suburban mom.” Their aggressive real estate agent soon finds them a dream house, until its owner gets cold feet about selling. What begins as a simple house decision quickly becomes a search to find the courage to make big changes.
There is no performance on Friday, May 21.
