About This Show

Filled with intrigue and deception, painful memories and dark humor, Somebody’s Sons is a unique and disquieting piece. Dolly Madison has faced a life full of heartbreak. In a disturbing attempt to put things right, she has hired two actors to live in her home and play her grown sons for a week. Her husband Stanley grudgingly goes along with this bizarre charade with the hope that it will provide Dolly some closure and allow them to move on with their lives. So “Stuart” and “Morris” take on their roles and in the course of their week with Dolly confront deep issues from their own pasts and face harsh realities for their futures. Toward the end of the play, everyone must confront the reality that literally walks through the front door: Dolly and Stanley’s real son, Stu. Box-office hours are 10am to 5pm Tuesdays through Saturday.Half-price tickets are available at the door 90 minutes before curtain time (previews excluded). Pay-What-You-Can at the door Sunday January 30, and Friday February 11 will be available 90 minutes prior to the curtain time.
