About the Show
Alley Theatre presents the world premiere of Be My Baby, by Ken Ludwig, directed by John Rando. The show stars Dixie Carter, often remembered as Julia Sugarbaker of the long-running television hit Designing Women and Hal Holbrook, the Oscar-nominated actor who played Deep Throat in All the President’s Men and has toured for years to critical and audience raves with his one man show Mark Twain Tonight!
The veteran actors play two likeable characters who actually don’t like each other very much, but are forced into a cross-Atlantic adventure to transport a newborn baby to her adoptive parents.
