About This Show

The Spotlight Series is comprised of favorite, fully produced projects by Theatre Three’s important artists. All performances will take place in Theatre Too! on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Each show will run only two weeks.

Grateful: The Songs of John Bucchino devised by Terry Dobson

Terry Dobson, Theatre Three’s musical director, compiles some of Bucchino’s extraordinary music that has been recorded and performed by Barbara Cook, Michael Feinstein, Art Garfunkel, and Patti Lupone into a dazzling songbook.

Dear Liar by Jerome Kilty
February 3 – 13, 2005

Based in the correspondence between famous playwright George Bernard Shaw and the woman he called “his enchantress”, Mrs. Patrick Campbell, these letters reveal the fiery and passionate relationship between two unlikely lovers.

Old Wicked Songs by Jon Marans
May 12 – 22, 2005

A revival of the 1999 hit comedy-drama that starred Jac Alder and Ashley Wood. Stephen Hoffman, a young pianist, is trying to reconnect with his music by venturing to Vienna in 1986. He is assigned to an elderly vocal teacher with a discomfiting habit of dropping anti-Semitic remarks.
