The New Works Festival 2002

About the Show

The New Works Festival is an exciting, eclectic series that not only includes the mainstage production of Barbette but also a collection of staged readings, featuring the diverse and vibrant new voices of local, regional and national playwrights. This year’s staged readings were chosen from over 250 scripts submitted from all across the country. The staged readings are directed by Dan Day and Tina Parker. Each reading is followed by a moderated discussion with the director and the cast, designed to generate audience feedback and explore the dynamic process of creating and producing new work.

The Staged Readings are Pay-What-You-Can
