About This Show

The Good Negro viscerally depicts the struggles of three civil rights leaders fighting for equality while trying to hold together their community and personal relationships against the racially-charged backdrop of 1963’s Birmingham, Ala. With the FBI and Ku Klux Klan working against them, Wilson’s characters must face themselves and each other to decide what they’re willing to risk for a greater cause.
