Denton Community Theatre Summer Musicals presents the Pulitzer prize-winning musical satire about big business. J. Pierrepont Finch?Ponty to his friends?makes the climb from window washer to President of the company in record time. With only his trusty manual to guide him, Ponty must avoid the dangers of an advertising gimmick gone wrong and somehow win the love of Rosemary. This classic show features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, and a book by Abe Burrows, Willie Gilbert and Jack Weinstock. Songs include “A Secretary is Not a Toy,” “Grand Old Ivy,” and “Brotherhood of Man.”
There will be an additional Sunday matinee on August 20 at 2pm.
